The Atlantis Hotel in Dubai with 1539 rooms has opened with the most expensive private party ever staged at $35 million. Guests were treated to a $6.58 million fireworks display lighting up the entire resort. This lavish display had seven times more fireworks at the hotel’s opening than at the Beijing Olympics.
The red carpet included a long list of celebrities with Kylie Minogue heading the bill, who has been paid over $4 million to perform to an estimated 2000 guests.
The owners are South African billionnaire Sol Kerzner and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, who honestley have created a totaly jaw dropping spectacle. The scale and sheer wow factor amaze me and I cant wait to see it on my next trip to Dubai.
