You can keep Public Transport

Public transport let me think. Well it sucks actually. After a shower and a fresh start to your day you board your choice of public transport and again meet those people who think hygiene is something you buy in Spain while on holiday.

Now don’t get me wrong some people need somewhere warm to hide for a while and the people who have decided to drink constantly need transport to the nearest ATM so they can get another load of beverages. But in those cases let’s just have transport setup especially for these people.

Now to the smokers who have just inhaled that last cigarette, for the time the journey takes and by the smell it’s probably one of 50 in the last day. If you don’t know this smell then just ask someone to put a full ashtray of butts next to you and you will realise the odour is worth forgetting.

It’s silly to expect that people would be fresh in the morning and could also respect the fact that it’s early and maybe you are not ready for conversations on world peace and just want some quiet till you can get to that first coffee.

I tell you why we can’t get all the cars off the road and help save the planet because public transport sucks on so many levels. Besides the stink on regular occasions, there is so little security for passengers who are not looking for trouble or to re in act the last wrestling match they saw last night.

Years ago when say a pregnant woman or an elderly person got on people would offer their seat, that is becoming a think of the past as common courtesy is seems non existent at times. Also make sure you check the seats for chewing gum or whatever crap the last person left behind as a free donation.

Standing seems the best and only option, so just take a deep breathe and listen to the latest addition on your personal space device.
